• Discover Phuket

Thailands largest and most popular island, Phuket is as colourful as it is cosmopolitan and one of the worlds most famous dream destinations.Phuket boasts some lush inland vistas, including a few remote swathes of rainforest on Ko Yao, but the island really comes into its own along its western shoreline, where hunter-green foliage meets the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea.

  • Discover Bangkok

Bangkok is excess in all of its unrestrained glory. Bigger, better, more: the city is insatiable, a monster that feeds on concrete, shopping malls and diesel exhaust. The city demands that you be in the present and in the moment, because the city is self-absorbed and superficial, blissfully free of self-reflection. Smiles and fun are the key passports into Bangkok society. A compliment here, a joke there, the demands of social lubrication in this megalopolis are more akin to a small village.

  • Discover Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai has always had many feathers to its bow with its cultural riches, relative peacefulness, fantastic handicraft shopping, delicious food and proximity to many natural treasures. Changes are afoot however, with the city becoming somewhere to watch in the style stakes. Chic, Thai-style boutique hotels are popping up everywhere, and one look at the trendsetters setting up shop (and bars and restaurants). Yet, the northern capital still manages to retain the relaxed, temple-sprinkled, cultural capital atmosphere of yore, alongside these new hip happenings.

  • Discover Hua Hin

Do not come looking for a party-at-all-costs backpacker scene. Instead you can fill your time with 18 holes at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course or go horseback riding on the beach. After dark there is a cosmopolitan restaurant scene to explore, rustic seafood restaurants on the pier to visit, or the simple culinary charms of one of Thailands best night markets to sample. The citys 5km of beaches are the cleanest they have been for many years, swimming is safe, and Hua Hin continues to enjoy some of the peninsulas driest weather.

  • Discover Koh Chang

Koh Chang feels a world apart from most of Thailands islands. There are no megaphone announcements for Thai boxing (even though some of the countrys best fighters hail from Ranong Province), no streets designed entirely for farang. No, Koh Chang is not selling knock-off Ray-Bans and Playstation games. Its marketing scheme focuses squarely on seducing buyers with an older, slower version of Thailand. Electricity is sporadic, and tourists few and far between.

  • Discover Koh Lanta

The main attraction of Ko Lanta - and the secret of its success - is its size. Despite all the development, the long, wide sandy beaches manage to remain semi-deserted, even in peak season. This gives the whole island a wonderfully laidback atmosphere, where you can read all day in your hammock completely undisturbed.

  • Discover Koh Samui

In 1971 two tourists arrived on Thailands third-largest island via a coconut boat from Bangkok and stumbled upon paradise – white-sand beaches with palms blowing in the wind and clear green seas sparkling in the sunlight, against a picture-perfect background of lush green hills and brown roads interspersed with rough wooden structures. The Ko Samui of today is changing, and the cheap fan bungalows are increasingly hard to come by. Most accommodation is either mid-range or top-end, beachfront properties boasting beautifully decorated rooms, lush gardens and lavish pools.
